Directions
There are a number of ways to get to the Halifax ski centre. The easiest way is to take the
Queensbury Road (A647) from the centre of Halifax and take a right turn, after about half a mile, into
Ploughcroft Lane. At the junction with Bradford Old Road, take a right turn and the ski centre is on
the left hand side. It is marked on the West Yorkshire and Halifax A-Zs.
Timings
There is a one-hour ski lesson, which starts at 3pm. You need to be there no later than 2.4Opm so that everyone can get boots etc on and be ready to start promptly at 3pm. Tea will follow, and the party will finish at 5pm.
Clothing
You are advised to wear old and warm clothing. Long sleeved tops and gloves should be worn. Bring a hat in case it is cold and waterproofs in case it rains!
